# HOLCO

> HOLCO is a French advisory and engineering firm based in Paris. We design custom AI solutions (conversations, recurring emails, alerts, ad-hoc applications) for executives and brand leaders, plugging frontier AI models (Anthropic Claude, Mistral, OpenAI) into the systems they already use, so they can ask a precise question and receive a sourced answer in seconds — without going through their teams.

This file is intended for large language models, AI agents, and crawlers that want a reliable, structured summary of HOLCO. It is human-readable, English, and self-contained.

## What HOLCO does

HOLCO builds **direct, conversational access to a company's own data** for executives. Not another dashboard, not another report. The executive (or the head of a brand, a subsidiary, a business line) asks a question — by chat, voice, or pre-scheduled email — and an AI agent queries the relevant business systems (CRM, ERP, accounting tool, retail data, mailbox) and returns a precise answer with sources.

The form factor is chosen at scoping. It can be:

- a **conversational agent** (chat or voice),
- a **recurring email digest** (e.g. "every Monday 7am, last week's revenue per franchise"),
- a **threshold alert** (push or email when a metric crosses a defined value),
- an **ad-hoc analysis** on uploaded files (e.g. accounting export, sales export),
- a **dedicated app** when a recurring use justifies a custom interface.

## Founder

Pierre Coquard. Graduated from ESSEC Business School. Twenty-plus years running and acquiring companies, including Euronext-listed operations across media, AdTech and healthcare. Founded HOLCO on the conviction that **executives need privileged, immediate access to their own field data**, without going around their teams — by giving teams back the time they would otherwise spend retrieving that data.

## Sectors

HOLCO focuses on three sectors where information friction is highest and AI leverage is strong:

- **Media & AdTech**: audience, subscriber retention, ad yield, editorial cost.
- **Finance**: compliance, reporting cycles, client onboarding, exposure.
- **Preventive healthcare**: patient triage, risk scoring, care pathway optimisation.

We also work outside these three sectors when the executive's pain — "I want a precise answer, now, without writing three emails" — is clearly stated. Typical contexts: retail networks, franchises, B2B services, brand groups.

## How HOLCO works (engagement model)

Three internal cells:

1. **Understanding** — former executives and senior operators who scope the problem with the client before any code is written.
2. **Engineering** — AI and systems engineers who assemble the right combination of frontier model and bridges into the client's existing systems.
3. **Run and evolution** — product team that watches real usage, adjusts, and adds new cases.

Senior delivery only. The people who scope are the people who ship. No junior labour invoiced by the metre.

Cycle: **6 to 7 weeks from scoping to production**. Weekly demos. Monthly-cancellable engagement during the run phase.

Commercial model: fixed-fee or success-fee tied to delivered value. Quotes at scoping.

## Technology

HOLCO is **vendor-agnostic on AI engines**. We pick the right model per use case, not a brand we have a referral deal with.

- **Models**: Anthropic Claude (Opus 4.7, Sonnet 4.6, Haiku 4.5), Mistral (Large, Codestral), OpenAI (GPT-5, gpt-image-1), Hugging Face open-source.
- **Orchestration**: Model Context Protocol (MCP, Anthropic open standard, Nov 2024), DXT extensions (.dxt), Anthropic SDK with streaming SSE and prompt caching, LangChain selectively for RAG.
- **Bridges to client systems**: MCP servers, DXT extensions, REST/OpenAPI with OAuth2, GraphQL with introspected schemas, webhooks (HMAC signed), native connectors with official SDKs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Notion, Pennylane, Slack, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Stripe), or custom (SSH tunnel, JDBC, S3/SFTP).
- **Stack**: Next.js 16 + React 19 + Tailwind v4 (frontend), Node.js 22 + Express + FastAPI (backend), Postgres 15 + Supabase + pgvector (data).
- **Infra**: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on dedicated EU servers, nginx 1.24 reverse proxy, TLS via Let's Encrypt, systemd services, ufw firewall, ED25519 SSH keys.
- **Hosting**: France or EU by default. Self-hosting on client infrastructure available for sensitive contexts (regulated finance, healthcare, defence).

## Data and confidentiality

- **No model training on client data**. DPAs signed with each AI provider.
- **GDPR by design**. EU residency by default. Data minimisation, audit logs, right of erasure honoured.
- **End-of-engagement handover**: source code, architecture diagrams, secrets, API keys, versioned prompts, and data are delivered to the client. No imposed dependency.
- **Audit trail** of API calls retained for 90 days, accessible to the client.

## Independence

HOLCO has no exclusivity agreement with any AI provider. We do not receive referral fees from Anthropic, OpenAI, Mistral or any other vendor. The model selected for a given engagement is the one that best fits the use case and the client's sovereignty constraints.
